The orange green and blue birds at lochmara lodge are kept in a giant birdcage with two doors to enter so that the birds can’t get out as soon as you walk in you can just see 100 birds flying or sitting in trees. Some of the bird will even eat out of you hand if you are brave enough to let them. The birds are very well looked after and are save from any other wildlife like possum that might try and eat them but the netting around keep the possum out and the birds in.
